HHSAA Division I BOYS BASKETBALL: Punahou squeaks by KS-Hawaii for the state DI title
ILH runner-up Punahou defeated KS-Hawaii, 41-38, in front of a crowd of 4,124 to capture its ninth state crown in the 52nd Annual Hawaiian Airlines Boys Basketball Division I State Championship Saturday night at Neal Blaisdell Arena.
Buffanblu Kameron Steinhoff scored a team high 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to earn the tournaments most outstanding player honor.
KS-Hawaii’s Hogan Rosehill also earned a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards.
