Jerry Tanupo singled in Tyler Nishino with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Marauders edged the Wildcats.
Edward Agag drew a lead-off walk. Nishino laid down a bunt, but Konawaena pitcher Jarrett Kitaoka fielded it and fired to second for the force. The second baseman’s throw to first was wild, which allowed Nishino to reach second base.

Waipahu lead-off batter Drake Yoshioka was intentionally walked, and the next batter struck out.

Tanupo followed with a single into shallow center for the game-winner.

Waipahu will play Kauai in the semifinals Saturday at noon at Les Murakami Stadium. Pac-Five and Moloka‘i will meet at 9 a.m. The final will be played at 4 p.m.

Waipahu’s Yoshioka pitched a four-hitter with two walks and three strikeous.

Konawaena’s Kitaoka allowed five hits and three runs (one earned) with four strikeouts.
