HHSAA Division II BASEBALL: Kamehameha-Hawai‘i 8, Kalaheo 3

Kaimana Moike, a senior right-hander, pitched a six-hitter with one walk and 13 strikeouts as the Warriors beat the Mustangs.

Chay Toson scored three runs, Keanu Dudoit-Isa scored twice and Bronson Pulgados drove in two runs for the Warriors, who led 7-0 after three innings.

Kamehameha-Hawaii had only six hits, but benefitted from nine walks and three hit by pitches. Chay Toson and Nainoa Hart both walked three times.

Kalaheo’s runs scored on Christian Palmer’s two-run triple to left-center in the sixth.

Kamehameha-Hawaii plays the winner of Waimea/Waialua in the semifinals Thursday at 10 a.m. at Les Murakami Stadium.

Kalaheo plays the loser of Waimea/Waialua in a consolation game Thursday at 9 a.m. at Hans L’Orange Park.
