Job Title: Head Coach - Varsity Football
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise Football Program
- Communicating with student athletes, parents/guardians, school administration
- Preventative procedures
- Finances, inventory of equipment, care of facilities
- Public relations
- Adherence to DOE/OIA policies
Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Teaching experience preferred
- NFHS fundamentals of coaching certification, NFHS Concussion in Sports or HCAMP Brainspace Concussion Course, NFHS Heat Illness Prevention, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations of Hawai’i High School Football
- Good communication skills, computer literacy, Google applications (mail, drive, sheets, meets, etc.)
- Knowledge of DOE/OIA policies
- At least two years of coaching experience at the high school level or above (preferred)
