HHSAA Football Statisticians Workshop

HHSAA Football Statisticians Workshop

July 29, 2017 | 1:00-4:00 p.m. | Kaimuki High School Room T1/T2

Football is king in Hawaii and in today's world, the final score is not enough.

Athletes, parents, coaches and the news media are looking for more than just height and weight. They are looking for key
statistics to see which athlete stands out or team trends.

In this workshop, you'll learn the basic football stats and terms and how it applies to the game. You'll also track an actual
game and be provided with stat sheets to track the key players.

If you're a student statistician for a high school or youth team or if you're looking for a way to be a sports journalist, this
course will help you understand why sports statistics is a vital to college recruiting.

The course is free of charge and space is limited. Registration is required for attendance.
